I feel almost as excited as Obama's cutie pie 86-year-old grandmother, Sarah Hussein Obama. I love this shot of her holding a picture of her grandson as she awaits the results of today's primary in Kogelo, Kenya.

If we're fortunate enough to get Obama elected, imagine what a huge message it would send to the rest of the world - that we're not ruled by old, white warmongers
I ran into my neighbor and her little girl (she's like 6 years old and a PISTOL) at the polling place, and while Mama was voting her little girl asked me who I was voting for. I told her it was a secret and she couldn't tell anyone, and then whispered it in her ear. She looked really excited and says, "I'munna vote for Momama too!" Then came the discussion about how she wanted to tell her Mom... I said she couldn't... she reluctantly agreed... She's funny. YAY, MOMAMA! :-)

Cari, how would you feel about a Barak/Ginny ticket in 2009? I like it, but that's just me.
