Amtrak from Portland to Olympia

I have no idea if any of you are interested in watching another video clip of another train ride (click here to view my last train adventure), but I just love having this! It totally takes me back to the feeling and sounds of train travel - my absolute favorite way to wander. This was on a very snowy day, riding from Portland, OR to Olympia, WA. We were so glad not to be flying!

ah, i love trains too. always takes me back to my eurailing days with sarah in the 8th grade! we have a train track very close to where we live. i love it when we're at the park and the train goes chug chug chuggin by. you just have to stop everything and WATCH :)

Yay Train videos! I too love trains. Sometimes we can hear the one we took home from Marfa late at night as it goes by.

I know it probably won't happen but I'd love it if Amtrak expanded and you could take it more here. I used to ride to Dallas for $31 in the early 1990s but they stopped that line. We can still take it to West Texas. It's $75 to go to Alpine Texas. Mom and I have talked about doing this. That line runs all they way out to LA which I'll do someday.

Post more train videos I loved both!
